Material Systems Exploring Climate, Uncertainty and Adaptation
Christina Massey transforms discarded aluminum beverage cans into woven paintings, sculptures, and installations that explore environmental systems in states of growth, adaptation, and uncertainty. Using climate data as a generative framework, she develops material systems informed by drought, flooding, temperature extremes, and seasonal change.
