The Interwoven series was the first time that the artist combined the methods of the "Business & Pleasure" series with that of the weaving process that began in 2009 in her works on paper.
Cut up khaki's, denim jeans and collared shirts are woven into the surfaces of the paitning, making them much more obvious and dominant in the works surface. The clothing is symbolic of wealth and corporate life and it's unavoidable aspect of our lives as it has become a part of our own landscape so to speak.
