This work is both hand stitched and created using a floor loom. The work was intentionally pulled apart and re-mended back together using re-purposed fabrics and past paintings to create the new artwork.

This is part of a series where the artist was beginning to dive into playing with patterns and textures in a way she had not previously done. In her prior work, the "Business & Pleasure" series she had primarily used sewn, gathered canvas to create dimension on the artwork, and here in this series she began to really embrace more visual "business" by adding in repeated patterns and textures, in essence, breaking her own patterns and methods of creating.
